The Vaughn Family Pecan Farm is a family owned business incorporated in 1995 as a for profit company in the State of Indiana. The farm is situated on 24 acres of land in Scott County with nearly half now supporting bearing improved pecan cultivars. Our crop consists primarily of Pawnee pecans, but we also have Posey, Colby, Hirschi, Peruque, and Maramec.
We are cooperators with the USDA-ARS at Texas A&M and test a number of experimental pecan cultivars with their guidance.
On September 17th, 2016 we will host the first ever Vaughn Family Pecan Farm Symposium featuring noted speakers from the pecan breeding and hardwoods industries for the first of it's kind meeting in the State of Indiana. More details on that to come later.
